Rub Smokehouse & Bar is a Birmingham venue that has its roots firmly embedded in the American South. The restaurant is based on Regency Wharf, next to Birmingham's iconic canal.
Their mantra is simple: saucy and oh-so-tender, 'smoke low and slow'. Inspired by the well-establish culinary traditions of the region, the venue offers Birmingham's foodies a hearty menu of succulent meats and mouth-watering sides to sink their chops into. Their Hung, Drawn and Quartered Platter sounds, well, just incredible. In true American style, all of their meat is left overnight in their in-house smoker, before being marinaded in their eye-watering 'Rub' blend of spices.
To wash the heat and taste of the South down, their team of mixologists will be offering up a selection of tantalising cocktails, produced using an impressive selection of international spirits and fresh fruits.
Forget cowboy hats and rodeos, this is what the South is really about.
