The Hope

Description

This venue is now The Hope and Ruin.

A live music institution found on the road that connects Brighton station to the sea, The Hope is known for it's quirky take on milkshakes, premium gigs and laid back indie atmosphere.

With a main room, bar and upstairs gig venue The Hope Live boasting the capacity to fit up to 220 party people, The Hope is a grand space for live music and after work drinks the like. From exposed brick walls and locally commissioned pieces of art to a fully functioning jukebox and a 'Before I Grow Up' interactive chalk board wall, The Hope is simple in its interiors, yet boasts all the indie amenities for laid back night out in Brighton be you after unadulterated riffs or a quick drink on your way home from work.

Known for its involvement in the local music scene and indie music market the UK over, The Hope has seen a cracking selection of acts and gig names pass through its doors including The Strokes, Adele and The White Stripes; all looking to make use of the top notch PA system and stage. Drinkers with mardy Sunday heads will also be pleased to find a selection of alcoholic inspired cocktails for post Saturday pick-me-ups.
