Patty & Bun Brighton

Description

After the success of its six sister venues in London, Patty & Bun brought its trendy chain to Brighton in 2018, which now slings out juicy, freshly prepared burgers from the corner of Ship Street and Meeting House Lane.

The first-ever Patty & Bun opened in 2021, settling on London's James Street, as founder Joe Grossman created a menu devoted to using only the freshest ingredients. The restaurant works with artisan producers to ensure everything is of the highest quality, including sourcing their meat from HG Walter (a family-run business dating back to 1972) and cheese courtesy of Neil's Yard Dairy.

The Brighton outpost mimics the laid-back, independent nature of its London counterparts, featuring wooden tables topped with cutlery and red ketchup bottles, as well as a long, tiled kitchen counter overlooked by chalkboards denoting the latest specials and offers.

When it comes to the menu, expect a fantastic lineup of burgers, such as The Don, made with two dry-aged beef patties, pancetta, beef butter, American cheese, onions and mayo, all nestled in a brioche bun. But that's not all, as you'll also find lamb, chicken and veggie patties on the menu, as well as wings, brisket-loaded chips and cheese balls. You won't be going thirsty either, thanks to a fridge filled with craft beers.
