Description
Located in the bustling city centre, Bertie’s is a vast yet humble chip shop with 300 covers across two floors and 11,000 square feet. Boasting the title of Scotland's biggest chippie, its menu is equally as extensive as one would hope, offering a selection of traditional and modern dishes in a contemporary beach-inspired setting.
The food options include classic battered cod and haddock, haggis and handmade pies, alongside Bertie’s fish curry, vegan fish and chips and Shetland mussels. The cocktail menu is equally idiosyncratic, making use of Scottish ingredients and creating something a little bit different, the Irn Bru Spritz being a perfect example.
