Brunswick Cellars

1 review - Party Bar
A dark, in-demand, dive bar, Brunswick Cellars is a subterranean lair on Sauchiehalle Street. Despite having rebranded, refurbished, and relocated - just down the street - in early 2013, the basement bar is still something of a firm fixture among its regulars. Patrons swear on the merits of Brunswick Cellars' cordial bar staff, cracking indie selection and legendary fish tank.
With a time-stands-still sort of vibe, it's easy to pass the hours in this joint, and the cheap drinks (Buckfast martini, anyone?) will keep you there even longer. While the music policy has swayed a little more towards rock in recent incarnations, Brunswick is still a great night out venue for those looking for their indie fix. A Monday night quiz extends the party vibes into the week but Thursday to Sundays see the real crowd pour in, with the official pre-party for nearby Cathouse club kicking off every Thursday.
