Stereo

Description

Vegan restaurant slash arts centre, Stereo is a quirky little number in Glasgow's City Centre bar scene. Occupying a Charles Rennie Mackintosh building, Stereo is crammed with character and steeped in history, the building was once the home to Daily Record Printing works. The relaxed cafe bar offers a hearty, healthy, eco-friendly offering of vegan grub and a range of bevvies which include organic beers, ciders and wines as well as teas, coffees and juices.

Downstairs, the basement venue showcases an array of musical talents, from local acts to established performers, while special events exhibit the work artists, live performers and filmmakers. Club nights take flight three nights a week, with in-house and guest DJs tearing it up with house and techno to a mixed crowd of musos, students, and clubbers. Stereo is a colourful, busy hangout where there's always something going on.
