What they say:
As the bustle of Brixton continues to ever bulge (you need only get stuck in the 6pm post-tube rampage to know it), it was only right that Blues Kitchen took to one of the most currently talked about, and stirring dining destinations in the city. Building up on the bones of what once was Electric Social, Blues Kitchen Brixton will bring their Texan-flavoured tinkerings down South for a stacked deck of live music nights, piled-high patties and a blessed selection of bourbons.
What we say:
While Brixton once tried the rise up against to a cheese and champagne shop with placards and disdain, I doubt their bones will ring with quite the same aggression against boastful burgers and a serious selection of bourbon. From their Shoreditch gospel on a Sunday night and their mint laced Grasshopper cocktail, to their live music and bewildering brisket dish, I class myself as a lady that can genuinely vouch for the Blues Kitchen brand; and really do think that the once Electric Social space makes quite the mark-up for such a South American stomper.
