Description
Before we get started on the nitty gritty, we’ll need to tell you how to get inside. Stroll on up to a side door on Brixton Road marked ‘Trade Entrance’, buzz on the intercom and have a word with the friendly team, they’ll even come downstairs to escort you up.
Sovereign Loss is an intimate, broody cocktail bar located above the Prince of Wales in the centre of Brixton. It’s got a 24-hour licence and likes to keep the party flowing until late; they don’t let up until 3am on Thursdays and 5am at the weekends. You’ll sup away at Cognac and vermouth laced cocktails, locally brewed beers, mead from Peckham and a healthy array of bubbles.
There’s an arty edge to the décor and with its own separate terrace, it looks good for a few alfresco cocktails come summer time.
