Grain Store

Description

Sister venue to the ornate and successful Zetter Townhouse, Grain Store is a short walk from King's Cross and St. Pancras stations. With an interior designed and created by the acclaimed Russell Sage, the space blurs the lines between kitchen and dining room, with elements of the cooking process spilling over to the table. Grain Store also has a stunning 80 seat terrace on Granary Square, which offers a rare opportunity for alfresco drinking and dining in the heart of the capital, with views of Regents Canal.

Despite the fact that the restaurant is so popular, with its vegetable led menu, the bar is a destination in its own right. Tony Conigliaro has taken inspiration from the Greco-Roman approach to wine, experimenting with the introduction of herbs and spices to flavour them to create a wonderful drinking experience. As well as this, both bar and kitchen have collaborated on elements of their respective menus, matching savoury cocktails with specific dishes, combining kitchen techniques with processes from Tony's laboratory. All in all Grain Store is an experience from start to finish, with fine food, fine wine and a stunning interior all matching together to form a London restaurant bar that truly impresses.

Menus

  • A word from the chef:

There are no geographical boundaries to the influences that have inspired the eclectic menu – they are a culmination of Bruno Loubet's extensive travels and the years dedicated to his beloved vegetable patch. Although many dishes have a meat or fish element, this menu gives vegetables equal billing, if not the starring role.
