The Whip

The Whip is a fun cocktail bar in Mayfair. Located above a recently renovated pub, The Running Horse, Mayfair's oldest, The Whip carries on the equestrian vibes upstairs. While The Running Horse is an ode to proper English pubs, The Whip takes its horsey inspiration from across the Atlantic, with the Kentucky Derby. Racking jockey silks make up the upholstery while traditional derby favourite, the Julep is the cocktail du jour at the bar. Other Southern touches will include pewter tins and preserves.

With pros at the helm, Dom Jacobs, former director of bars at Sketch and head bartender at The Fifth Floor Bar at Harvey Nichols, and James Chase of Chase Distillery; this bar is well refined, and the cocktails are crafted with perfection. Skilled concoctions, served in stylish surroundings, in one of London's chicest quarters, this Mayfair bar is for sure a hotspot for London's cocktail connoisseurs.
