5cc Hoxton is a bespoke cocktail club found below Electricity Showrooms on Hoxton Square. Combining the historic and the modern to glorious effect, 5cc features copper bar tops, cushtie booths and teetering stools, with a generous burst of neon. Talk about pizzazz.
5cc are into handmade cocktails made with fresh produce, so that’s what you’ll be getting. Expert mixologists get creative here, bringing drinks like the Punsch Line (vodka and Swedish Punsch with a dash of peach and lemon) and the Bed Time providing a potent mix of Demerara rum and bourbon. Dabble in one of their cocktail barrels (£40-£50) if you’re looking for something to share among your mates.
Peckish? Have a nibble on some marinated goat’s cheese with chilli and garlic, or gobble up some smoked beechwood mackerel pate. Snacks are delicious and reflect the refined nature of the cocktail menu.
