2 reviews - Party Bar
Description
The Crobar is London's only bar dedicated to bourbon, beer, rock music and the principal that it's ok to have fun without someone trying to stifle your flow.
Just around the corner of Charing Cross Road, the entrance is fairly daunting with a large skull greeting you. The walls are covered in stickers, flyers and song sheets with a few small tables and stools are spread about the venue, with enough space to stand. The crowds are incredibly varied, with 60 year old punks and trendy youngsters filling the space.
The venue is especially renowned for its music policy, with a heavy emphasis on rock, metal and punk anthems whilst regularly a number of local bands playing to packed out rooms.
A riotous venue that's always a lot of fun, The Crobar is a modest place that attracts a strong following that remains committed to its original format.
