1 review - Cocktail Bar
The Casa Playroom is a secretive cocktail bar nestled below the popular Mexican restaurant - Casa Negra - in the heart of Shoreditch. The venue comes alive at the weekends; when guests head downstairs for an evening of exotic cocktails, sumptuous food and dancing long into the night.
The cocktail list is truly something to behold. It's made up of perfectly blended concoctions with El Jimador tequila and mezcal; which is unsurprisingly never too far from the limelight. There's also an indulgent spread of frozen Margaritas and 'Rest Of The World' offerings to sample while you're here. Mexican-inspired cocktails are the venue's pride and joy, but there is also a choice of wines and beers to work your way through if you like.
The Playroom also carries a refined choice of bar snacks if you come over a little peckish, with guests nibbling on Tacos, Guacamole and Habanero Soft Shell Crab as they gear up for a disco-assault on the bustling dance floor. Music is cool, understated, unexpected and fun; and it continues until late. A fun-loving basement bar, which carries on the stellar reputation of the restaurant upstairs and its Soho sister venue La Bodega Negra.
