The Chelsea Pensioner Pub, On Fulham Road, in The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, dates back to the mid 19th century. It was originally and until quite recently, known as The Black Bull and has had a couple of other identities before becoming "The Pensioner" in 2014. The current landlords have been running the venue since 2015.
Because of its proximity, there has always been a strong association with Chelsea Football Club and that has been successfully re-established in recent years. There is no better place to go on a Chelsea home matchday, than The Chelsea Pensioner, to get the buzzing pre-match football atmosphere.
They are very much a community pub, and they have many events on throughout the year, including music, Karaoke, quizzes, even dating nights, comedy and cabaret. If nothing else, a great place to wind down with a pint or a cocktail after a long day in the office.
They have a great happy hour Mon - Fri from 5 till 8 pm where they invite you to then make the most of their pool table in the main bar upstairs, a karaoke room holding up to 40 and with some 80,000 available songs in the basement, alongside their secret courtyard/garden. They have a great menu with food available all day and into the evening, including award-winning Pieminister pies & patties and huge Sausage Man hotdogs.
All the spaces within The Chelsea Pensioner are available for private hire, all the way up to full venue hire for up to 200 people. With one of the only Karaoke rooms in West London and some of the best rental rates you'll find, especially considering they are in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. If you have a party or special celebration coming up, why not check out how they might be able to help.
