The Jackdaw and Star is a beautifully renovated pub in the heart of Homerton just a five minute stroll from the station; An airy idiosyncratically gorgeous setting serving beautiful food and drink to the people of East London.
With a warm welcome like no other The Jackdaw and Star is the perfect spot for after work drinks, dinner with friends, a celebration large or small and of course a great place to relax any day of the week.The venue has a beautiful parlour area and beer garden. Both areas can be hired free of charge as an exclusive space for a party or social gathering or you can hire the whole venue on a minimum spend basis.
Andi Oliver and Kelly Miles are at the helm of the Sugar Shack kitchen and are delivering food that will knock your socks off! All week the menu features an array of imaginative dishes to rival any eaterie in London, orange and ginger jerk chicken, prime beef and Guinness braised oxtail burger, home smoked meats in towering club sandwiches and stunning desserts. On Sunday the menu gives way to a traditional Sunday roast with a choice of beef, pork, chicken or vegetarian/vegan options with as many Yorkshire's, gravy and potatoes as you like. The bar has an array of great permanent and guest beers on tap, Pressure Drop, Truman's, Camden Brewery, 5 Points brewery and Brooklyn Brewery are just some of the big names featured.
