The Crown and Shuttle

The Crown and Shuttle provides a genuine alternative to try-hard bars in Shoreditch. Since it originally opened in 1865 as a traditional Victorian public bar, the pub has gone through some interesting transitions, such as when it became a topless bar in the 90s before it was boarded up in 2001, reopening in 2013.

With the restoration of its original features, The Crown and Shuttle is a quirky place to grab a pint. Alongside its historic setting, the pub also boasts a large range of craft beers as well as micro-distilled spirits. It is also home to a huge beer garden, which is the place to go for a drink when summer comes swinging around. This outdoor space is adorned with plants, colourful benches, and fairy lights, creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons to relax and enjoy their drinks.
