Follow the neon ‘S’ sign at Bluu Bar and descend a staircase towards The Smithfield Social, a brand new speakeasy space of metal embossed walls, beaten leather booths and subtly smoked cocktails.
Celebrated bartender Tony Lovatt calls the shots, taking great pride in a small but perfectly formed list of pioneering cocktails. Starting at £8.25 a pop, there’s a very exclusive list of just ten drinks to ponder. The Gentleman’s Tipple marries Benedictine liqueur with an earthy bourbon smoke, while the Queen Mary introduces a black pudding puree and grilled smoked bacon twist on the Bloody Mary.
Come for an after-work catch up with your mates or work your way to the bottom of a signature Smithfield Punch Sharer on date night; the venue opens until late and is available for private hire for up to 60 guests.
