Spring is round the corner and most of us are keen to start stripping off and tanning up. But not all of us are ready to flash that flesh just yet. The boys in Rudimental are Not Giving In to the coming season but are launching a super cool pop-up in Manchester: the Coors Light Ice Bar in Spinningfields, for those of you who like your drinks refreshingly freezing. At -5 degrees Celsius, these Coors Light beers and cocktails will be crisp, delicious and unsuitable for the cold blooded.
The organisers at Coors Light have thought it all through and will be wrapping guests in thermal capes and gloves, designed to withstand the cold temperatures for up to thirty minutes. Platinum-winning Rudimental will be launching the week-long pop up on Friday 13th March for an exclusive private party of competition winners. There will be a live gig to heat up that frosty air with a spicy set of hot hits.
For the rest of us, entry is free for the rest of the week with the added bonus of a free gift – an interactive ice sculpture, including the likes of a life-sized snow angel, just in case we’re getting a bit hot under the collar. The bar gets even cooler with the presence of DJs and ‘intelligent wristbands’, so that guests can Tweet, Instagram and update those crucial Facebook statuses, all without catching frostbite.
Located in Spinningfields Square, the Coors Light Ice Bar will be open from Friday 13th until Thursday 19th March, offering the ultimate chilled night out.
