Description
Affordable drinks, tasty food and a great atmosphere are all the ingredients for a brilliant student night in Manchester and The Courtyard off Oxford Road has all of these. A favourite with the local students, the pub prides itself on having the 'cheapest beer in town'.
No matter when you pop down there is a thriving atmosphere and a chatty ambience. Perfect for kicking off your night of clubbing in Manchester city centre or stopping by for a lazy afternoon drink with friends. If you just fancy a quiet one with some family and friends, the 'snug' area is a nice option. Amongst the great drink prices there is also a very affordable food menu, so you won't have to worry about spending too much money! If you're up for the challenge try and tackle the 'man vs. food' option, 8 burgers, a side salad, 1kg of chips and onion rings. If you're good enough to eat it within 30 minutes then you get it free of charge, well worth a try.
It's easy to see why The Courtyard is a favourite with locals and for after work drinks. Great prices and a nice pub, it's far too easy to spend all your afternoon in there before realising it's closing time.
