What they say:
Taking up residency in the heart of The Printworks, Manchester Bierkeller opened last week in an oompah led fanfare of ale and accordians. Part of the Bierkeller chain which already has venues in Leeds, Blackpool and Liverpool, Bierkeller promises an authentic Bavarian experience with the finest German beers, a Bavarian style menu and live music and DJs to create a buzzing atmosphere every night of the week.
Owners are calling this "our largest and most extravagant Bierkeller yet", so expect the full Oktoberfest works with rows and rows of sociable bench seating, live entertainment, buxom serving wenches and lots and lots of beer.
What we say:
With real ale pubs popping up all over the city, it's clear that Manchester has an appetite for beer. So with its extensive beer selection, ample seating and menu of Bavarian comfort food, this huge new beer hall should prove an extremely popular addition to Manchester nightlife and offer something a little different for the beer drinkers of Manchester.
