Fresh from her BA in Linguistics and MA in Media & Journalism,
Scarlett became an Editorial Assistant at DesignMyNight in 2023 -
moving to London following years of studying and working in
hospitality across Newcastle and Kent.
A keen cook with an interest in mixology (and garlic bread,
of course), she turned these passions into freelance writing
for North-East entertainment and culture magazine, The Crack, and
voluntary roles as Food & Drink Sub-Editor and Senior Editor at Newcastle
University newspaper, The Courier.
