OX is an award-winning eatery from Belfast-born Stephen and Alain from Brittany who opened up the space in 2013, overlooking the River Lagan. Together, the pair utilise their relationship with local suppliers to source seasonal ingredients and whip up fantastic dishes. 

It's one of the best restaurants in Victoria Square Belfast, and both lunch and dinner menus are set affairs, coming in at around £55 per person for three courses, and £90 each for the latter. Look forward to devouring the likes of scallops with pumpkin and curry, spelt with ox tongue and smoked carrot, and 70% chocolate alongside burnt clementine and Jerusalem artichoke ice cream.

The Morning Star

The Morning Star in Belfast is a true gem and one of the restaurants near Victoria Square in Belfast city centre offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a rich history dating back to the 19th century. Tucked away on Pottinger's Entry, this award-winning gastropub is known for its top-notch food, traditional charm, and dedication to showcasing the best of Northern Irish produce.
