Belfast has given us dumpling to talk a bao this month with new opening Dumpling Library. Situated on the scenic St Annes Square, this restaurant is giving us botanical garden vibes with its stunning interior and gorgeous private dining pods. Not only has Eddie Fung, founder of the well-loved Chinese restaurant Zen, focused on elegant décor, but he has also created delightful plates inspired by his roots and East Asian cuisine.
If you're a fan of sharing small plates and tasting a little bit of everything, then Dumpling Library will be your new go-to. Dine with friends and tuck into their selection of freshly steamed bao buns from king prawn and celery to pork and sauerkraut. If you love noodles then you'll definitely enjoy their minced pork noodles with crunchy pork crackling, cucumber, peanut and chilli. Cocktails your thing? Sip on their Library Signature, a blend of dragon fruit gin, passion fruit, strawberry, grapefruit and pineapple juice. Inspired by the gorgeous location, they also do a Tropical Irish which is twist on a local favourite with whiskey, banana de bresil and coconut syrup.
