Pegged as a Modern pinball hall, Tilt is the next independent business to taking a spot in the City's Grade II listed Arcade building. Setting up shop as a cafe during the day and a craft beer joint come night, Tilt is spread across a ground floor and basement and promises to be a den of industrial innards, beers and coffee beans.
What we say:
If there's anything that Birmingham needs to give its bar scene a face-lift it's the promise of a new cafe stroke bar venue that comes complete with its own pinball hall. And why the hell not, if there's anything we miss most about the '90s it's arcade games and if you can do it with a beer (or coffee) in hand then that's even better. It's about time that the historic City Arcade reclaimed its title as a thriving space for independent businesses.
