Meet The Pineapple Club: a cocktail lounge, brunch spot and beer boutique in Birmingham city centre.

Housed within Great Western Arcade, the drinking haunt is the latest venture from the award-winning brains behind The Vanguard Cocktail Bar and Meadery. Downstairs you'll find a bottle shop specialising in a range of craft brews, ales, mead, spirits and liqueurs. However, for those of you looking for a sit-down affair, venture upstairs where a gorgeous cocktail den awaits. Millennial pink interiors and styish hanging lights are matched with contemporary floral motifs to create a seriously swanky seating area.

The bar's drinks offerings change every six months, with each new menu designed around a certain theme. The Pineapple Club's opening concoctions take inspiration from Miami beach, with sips such as the El Poco Baya, a fruity blend of vodka, blackcurrant Cassis, white pear and grape. The kitchen is headed up by Santi Plazas, who was previously sous chef at El Boracho Tapas, and whips up classic brunch fare from 10 am, as well as a globally-inspired small plates menu from lunchtime onwards. There'll also be a number of special events, including paella nights.
