Description
Hidden away under the railway arches of Birmingham Moor Street, Kilder is a great little bar and all round quirky hangout. Serving up an extensive and curious range of craft beers, natural wines and tasty food, this friendly watering hole, just next door to sister site Original Patty Men, pulls in a mix of foodie locals, students and young creatives.
Despite smacking of contemporary trends and modern fittings, Kilder wears its heritage on its sleeve. Alongside being a fixture in the iconic Shaw's Passage railway arches, the name Kilder is said to derive from an old-fashioned unit of beer measurement, the kilderkin, roughly equivalent to half a barrel.
