What they say:
A place where William Elliot once created cloth-covered buttons for the cloth wearing crowd, the Frederick Street location once known as Vertu is now transformed into The Button Factory. From an 80 strong balcony terrace and traditional bare-brick awnings, to a Robata grill and brunch bites, this is marked transformation for the historic building in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter.
What we say:
While no-one maybe wants to admit that Vertu was on limp legs, it looks like this venue's regeneration is sure to hit all the right notes in an area of Birmingham that lends itself to creative and casual haunts. With brunch and Robata bites in a loft-style location, this one plucky plot for dinner and drinks in the heart of the JQ.
