What they say:
Hoping to be the charming suburban alternative to their already popular city centre bar, The Sun on the Hill, The Sun at the Station promises the same if not different experience from its sister bar. With quirky contemporary features and kitsch charm, The Sun at the Station hopes to provide a laid back alternative to the bustle of city centre life with a selection of seasonal dishes and local beers to boot. And if you couldn't get enough of live music in Birmingham already, The Sun at the Station promises another space to sway and schmooze over local Birmingham talent.
What we say:
Another cool and quirky pub in Birmingham? Bring it on we say! What with the success of The Sun on the Hill in Birmingham city centre, it was no surprise to see another Sun venue pop up in the city. Somewhat different to its city centre counterpart, The Sun on the Station has a little more attitude to with kitsch decor and cleverly sourced treasures in abundance. A new venue in the heart of Kings Heath, it's great to see the interest starting to spark in this charming Birmingham village. Plus, any bar with a mounted T-Rex head gets a vote in our book.
