Stretch yourself down Pennyblack's lengthy bar to find not only a vast selection of ales, but an ample selection of places to sit in this attractive and smart bar brimming with rustic flecks, exposed brickwork and vintage furniture. With its bubbly atmosphere and gastro pub charm, people of all ages find Pennyblacks a treat - whether it's for resident DJ Andre Amour on a Saturday, cod and chips on a Wednesday or footie on a Sunday in Birmingham.
So what's the biggest pull you're wondering? With an outdoor canal-side seating area poised over the Gas Street Canal, bagging yourself a seat out here in the summer is one of the biggest draws to this bar. Shades on, drinks served. Well, that and the daily food and drinks deals; from 2 pizzas for £15 on Mondays, to wing Wednesdays. DJs do their thing every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so don't plan on an early night.
