Velvet Music Rooms is a family-owned Irish bar located in Birmingham city centre. Midweek, it's a casual and relaxed bar, famous for showing all sports on the biggest 5K screens in the city and serving 2-4-1 cocktails all day. However, on the weekend, the venue comes alive with bottomless brunches, DJs and their nightclub Sugar Suite, which hosts weekly urban events including residencies with DJs from BBC 1XTRA, so get your dancing shoes on.
Hungry? They serve up delicious home-cooked food, including towering juicy burgers, boneless wings, steaks, salads and tapas. With live music every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and a fantastic street terrace that soaks up the evening sun, it’s the only place to be on Broad Street.
