What with so many Birmingham comedy clubs and jovial characters knocking around the Brum comedy scene, it was no surprise to see the Birmingham Comedy festival return for another year of thigh slapping frolics and bone tickling events; and this year there just so happens to be a few global names knocking around too. From Russell Brand to Nina Conti, Birmingham will have some of the biggest acts in the industry arrive for this nearly two week long event between 4-13th October, with plenty of unique nights out to be discovered.
From unique burlesque shows and showcases for local talent, to comedy eat-alongs at Birmingham bars such as Le Truc, everyone in Birmingham seems to be jumping aboard the funny bandwagon for a hilarious night out in the city. And what with the festival running now for over a decade since their first show in 2001 with Frankie Boyle and Peter Kay, you can rest assured on top quality acts.
