We all know that Birmingham boasts a thriving bar scene, but now one of the city’s favourite gin spots has been named the best in the world for its impeccable menu and quaint location.
Sip, sip hooray.
Gin Magazine’s Icons of Gin awards ceremony crowned the Jewellery Quarter 40 St Paul’s ‘Best Bar in The World’ by a panel of the industry's leading professionals. However this is not the first time the bar, owned by Amanjot Singh Johal, has been recognised for its work, having previously nabbed the title of Imbibe’s Best Gin List in the UK award 2017, and Best Gin Bar in the UK at the Icons of Gin Awards in 2018.
40 St Paul's has earned a reputation for being one of Birmingham's coolest bars for its speakeasy-style exterior, dark decor with mahogany interiors, and a bar of over 140 gins paired with a bespoke garnish and tonic to elevate the flavour.
40 St Paul’s is located on 40 Cox Street, B3 1RD, and is open Tuesday-Friday 5pm -11pm, Saturday 3pm -11pm and Sunday 5pm -11pm.
