It may be hard to believe but Digbeth Dining Club have been munching their way through everything ethical and edible for a year! They are super excited to be celebrating with a weekend of spicy, soulful and scrummy food from a whole array of their most favourite pop up food stalls plus loads of lovely music, and you are invited to Spotlight in Digbeth to join them!
For the past year, Digbeth Dining Club has been popping up with some of the most delectable delights from Birmingham’s many street food lords and ladies. There has always been a real emphasis on ethical produce and community for these guys, bringing cultures together in the best way they know how, through the tum. Digbeth Dining Club are renowned for their amazing collection of food stalls which freshly make an outrageously tasty collections of dishes inspired by food from all over the world. Joining the Dining Club for birthday celebrations on Friday August 30th will be ethically sourced baked pizzas from Matilda’s Bakehouse and of course, a party wouldn’t be a party with the suppliers of the self-proclaimed ‘best BBQ food in Brum’, Low 'n' Slow. Your taste buds may already be in a quiver, but it doesn’t end there.
Continuing on to Saturday, August 31st, there is whole new line up of new and old favourites to try for the first anniversary of Digbeth’s hottest Dining Club. Every tried Filipino food? Well now you can at Manila’s Munchies. The Big Daddy Diner will be joining the party accompanied by the marvellously named Soupremes Soulfood, who can fill you up with a big old plate of tantalising Caribbean treats. Entry to this scrumptious event at Spotlight Bar is free and there will be irresistible drinks offers, cocktails and real ales available all day to accompany you as we celebrate one year of fabulous food and drink in the city.
