Things were undeniably a lot easier when you were a kid: didn’t have to pay tax, there were no deadlines other than how fast you could run down a hill, and there was no pressure to find a boyfriend from literally everyone you know. But in growing up's defence, prosecco is just so good. So what if there was an event that combined the best of both worlds – like Prosecco & Balls, that not only thrusts you into a ball pit, they let you drink prosecco while you’re there.
Brought to you by Shameful Indulgence and hosted at the notorious Rainbow Venues, this is a full-on children’s festival for adults. You are given the option of selecting one of many 30-minute slots on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd September, where you are free to dive into 250,000 multi-coloured balls to your heart’s content. But that’s not all: there’s pop anthems playing all day, gunk machines ripped straight from 90s Nickelodeon, a vintage fair ground ride, and a Velcro wall. Oh, and the food of choice is mac and cheese. Prosecco, mac and cheese, and 250,000 balls… actually, being an adult isn’t too bad.
Prosecco & Balls is in the Rainbow Venues warehouse, Digbeth, on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd September 2017 from 10am to 10pm, with tickets from £19.50.
