While rumours of a juniper berry shortage may be rife, Birmingham has seemingly gone wild for this sassy spirit. And what with gin being found in more cocktails than any other spirit in the world, we can kind of see why. Even The Bureau now totes its own gin faring roof terrace! But unless you're gettin' dizzy at The Jekyll and Hyde this winter, where else can you savour some fine gin fare and dapper distilled drinks from some of the UK's finest? Well well well, looks like we have an answer to your ginondrum. We know, terrible.
Already an established festival working its way through cities such as Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle, The Gin Festival will finally be embarking upon Birmingham this September 6th for a frivolous evening of gin dabbles and juniper flirting. An event for 'connoisseur or a casual enthusiast' alike, Gin Festival will not only be showcasing over 50 of the UK's finest bottles, there's set to be must-try masterclasses and live music alike. All of which is set to be found at the same venue that showcased this year's Whisky Festival, The Bond. You'll gin some, but don't worry, you most certainly won't lose some. At least not at £5 a ticket you wont anyway.
