Many think that Birmingham lacks a little sky-high lustre when it comes to rooftop destinations. And while we do actually have a top notch, if not intimate selection of rooftop liquid plots including the likes of The Church Inn and Marco Pierre's Champagne Bar, what more can one hurt? Guess what, it can't. Having only opened late last year, The Bureau not only secured the public vote for 'Hidden Gem' in our 2014 DesignMyNight Awards, they've also won over the city with their subtle speakeasy charm and Don Draper attitude.
Unveiling the second round of their opening plans, Colmore Row's Bureau have announced their most intriguing move yet in the shape of none other than a roof terrace. Opening their Langley's gin roof terrace at the end of June this year, The Bureau will be propping up a semi permanent bar boasting all of their favoured cocktail classics, alongside a selection of cigars and beers to boot. Boasting a contemporary charm, and seating areas converted from flag pole huts, this roof terrace is one heck of an exciting addition to Birmingham's sky-high offering.
