Ready for a summer banger? Grab your sunnies, slap on a thick layer of sunscreen and mosey down to Digbeth. The Old Crown Street Food Fest will take place over four consecutive weeks in its bustling beer garden, complete with tasty cuisine from Brum’s best independent vendors and live music to keep the good vibes going.
Kick off the street party on the 17th of June and enjoy tunes from DJs Matt Smith and Jordan Lott while tucking into ooey gooey Canadian poutine (aka: cheese curd heaven). Can’t make the first event? These guys have three more in the books including an Independence Day-themed bash featuring American burgers and beer, or if Mexican food is more your speed, there will be a tequila and taco-filled evening. To end things on a flavourful note, head to the closing party where vendors such as Indian food purveyors Zindaya are whipping up authentic street eats.
A foodie's summer dream? Without a doubt.
The Old Crown Street Food Fest will be held every Saturday from the 17th of June to the 15th of July. Tickets are free to book here and to get all the latest news, sign up to our Birmingham newsletter.
