Following on from the success of their Halloween instalment of 'Rosemary's Baby' in October at The Old Crown, Scott House Social Cinema return to their original stomping ground at The Custard Factory for another dose of cool indie cinema pop-ups and independent frivolities. Those of you with a hankering for biographical insights and Joy Division best be putting your shoes on, sharpish, as Scott House Social Cinema present an award winning biopic in their January 23rd edition.
Awarded with Best European Film at the Directors' Fortnight sidebar at Cannes Film Festival and nabbing five gongs at the British Independent Film Awards, Scott House Social Cinema have taken to Anton Corbijn's biopic of infamous Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis, Control. Kicking off at 6:30pm for the rather sprightly sum of £7, guests will be treated to a fun filled selection of drinks, nibbles and DJ fun before the show starts at 7:30pm and cinematic crooners get their fill of Sam Riley's role and Joy Division hits.
