London has Printworks, Bristol has Motion, now Birmingham has an industrial space of its own. Located in the railway arches of Lower Trinity Street, the renovated Victorian warehouse boasts industrial features such as iron beams, exposed brickwork and concrete floors giving it an edgy urban feel. There's two rooms of music to explore as well as a rooftop garden to chill and chat on, and a mezzanine to overlook all the action.
With the support of the MJR Group, the minds behind Digbeth Arena, the programme features a broad selection of live music and electronic acts lined-up. The Mill has a capacity of 750 for live artists, expanded to over 1000 for DJ sets, and the schedule looks pretty impressive so far, featuring underground legends Napalm Death, Mogwai, Gentelmen's Dub Club and more. The nightlife event schedule is still under wraps, but with organisers like Cirque du Soul, Leftfoot and Shadow City on board, there's some good stuff in the works.
