Description
Cadbury World is a self-guided wonderland dedicated to the famous chocolate that was invented in Birmingham in 1824, when John Cadbury opened up a grocer's shop on Bull Street. It's the ultimate day out for those looking to learn more about their favourite purple bar, children and chocoholics alike.
Allow two hours to explore the quirky park and venture to the 4D Cadbury Chocolate Quest ride where you can join Freddo and dive into liquid Dairy Milk. Get to grips with interactive video stations and learn how Creme Eggs, Buttons and Roses are made, uncover secrets with special effect video presentations and travel back in time with a recreation of Bull Street. There's also the chance to get lost in the Aztec jungle where the origins of cocoa beans will be told - although there's a very watchful Emperor Montezuma who might have something to say about that.
If you fancy having a go at making chocolate yourself, there's a zone for that, as well as the chance to get stuck in with a very chocolatey afternoon tea from £28.95 per person. After all your adventuring, stop off at the Cadbury World Cafe and tuck into a light lunch complete with paninis, pizzas and soft drinks.
