Looking for something a little different from a midweek outing? Can’t decide whether to go for drinks in Birmingham or to catch a movie? A movie buff who just can’t get enough of the big screen? Well, Birmingham’s creative hub The Custard Factory bring you Scott House Social Cinema, a film club like no other.
With DJ’s, live bands and a bar as well as great movies, founders Beth White and Rachel Taylor are committed to making this a film club in Digbeth with a difference. With showings of independent, art house and cult films, even the most experienced moviegoer is bound to find something new.
Bringing together Birmingham’s cool and creative crowd, Scott House Social Cinema kicks off on July 4th 2013 at 6.30pm. The first of these monthly nights intends to celebrate Independence Day in Birmingham in style by showing John Schlesinger’s cult classic and gun slinging ‘Midnight Cowboy’. There will also be DJ’s and a bar outside; and at only £7 pounds a ticket, it’s a purse friendly and quirky alternative to a standard cinema trip.
