The Craven Arms

Description

Just a stone's throw from the modern sophistication of the Mailbox you will find The Craven Arms, a little taste of historical Birmingham. Once described as 'majestic', The Craven Arms enjoys sticking to the traditional pub aesthetic. Having been bought by Black Country Ales, The Craven Arms has been meticulously redecorated with memorabilia of original owners, Holder's Ale. The interior is cosy and attractive, with crackling open fires, wooden floors and a warming scarlet colour scheme. The exterior is all the more eye catching, having held onto and preserved the blue and gold Majolica tiles from all those many years ago before the likes of the Mailbox made their mark. This little Victorian Style pub in Birmingham has worked hard to hold onto its history and pass it onto guests.

This place is for grown ups, and is enjoyed by many loyal regulars and those who wish for an alternative to the cosmopolitan walls of the Mailbox. Specialising in ales, The Craven Arms boasts not one, not two but eleven real ales on tap along with even more variety to choose from in bottle form. Plus, all your draught favourites from Banks' Original to Marston's Pedigree are readily available on draught. And while supping on a rejuvenating pint of ale, the accomodating staff can treat you to some simple lunchtime grub.
