Description
Just stone's throw from Birmingham New Street station, The Railway is a classic city boozer with great food, great service and a friendly atmosphere. A Cask Marque accredited pub in the heart of the city, The Railway ignores most flecks of modernity (other than necessary amenities of course) and sticks with traditional pub faring charm as mis-matched textures, classic chesterfield booths and neutral tones make up the body of this hearty pub. But something a little less usual in a traditional pub? The Railway serve a petite but classic menu of cocktails and shots for the more contemporary tipple taster.
While some pubs in the area may settle for a chilly ale here and a dash of ready salted crisps there, The Railway thought better of themselves by introducing a fresh bout of live music into their midst. Host to regular rock nights, metal gigs and acoustic soiree's, the sound of strings strumming is regularly heard through the doors of The Railway where a laid-back crowd come to settle down for the night be it for sound or sport.
