What they say:
Birmingham salon owner Aman Rishi will soon be unveiling a £40,000 refurbishment of traditional Harborne pub, The Kings Arms, into something wholly more adventurous. Utilising J.R.R Tolkien's roots in Birmingham and taking themed bars in Birmingham to the next level, Rishi plans to unleash a Lord of the Rings themed bar on the punters of Brum. From an awe inspiring tree focal point in the middle of the bar to vintage book lamps that look to be suspended mid-air, Rishi hopes to enchant Birmingham with the wonders of these well loved books.
What we say:
Now here's an exciting new development in Harborne! Not content with the other themed bars in Birmingham, salon owner Aman Rishi isn't looking to leave hairdressing behind, but he is looking to put those creative bones to good use. Set to be themed around none other than J.R.R. Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings' series, Rishi has looked to these fantastical stories for a pub venture like no other. Considering that Tolkien was born in Birmingham, it's about time that someone put that awesome theme to good use! Keep an eye out for what could be a grand Harborne adventure.
