Get down to Legna, where one of Birmingham's finest chefs is cooking up a treat in the canal-side space. Transforming his pop-up Mi Amore, Aktar Islam continues to change the face of Summer Row with authentic Italian cooking and an injection of modern flair. Choose a table overlooking the water outside, where speckled grey tables complement white wicker-style chairs, or grab a seat inside for a view of the open kitchen.
The contemporary menu leans towards authentic Italian dishes, with a carefully curated selection of eight starters and eight mains. Start with salt cod fritters or cured meats before moving onto freshly made pasta, rustic breads and wood-fired pizzas. You'll also find slow-cooked meats and changing seafood specials at this upscale eatery.
