NRI is not really Indian, it's Indian with a twist. Located in the trendy Mailbox Complex, the 180-top NRI is two time Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar' first Birmingham restaurant and second installment of the growing chain outside of Mumbai.
Kochhar looks to highlight the diversity of Indian dishes from immigrants around the world, with influences from Malaysia, the UK and South Africa. Dishes include Sri Lankan curry, 'Indie Brit' fish and chips, with spiced fish and Malay-Indian curried noodles.
