What they say:
Pintxos is bringing delicious Spanish tapas cuisine hailing from the Basque Country to Birmingham City Centre. The region is known as a foodie paradise in Spain and so people should expect some fresh, regional dishes. The permanent food menu consists only of three different salads bocadillos, with the rest of the menu being created from whatever fresh ingredients are available that day. The dishes are all coming in cheap as well, with three plates costing only £9.
What we say:
The best thing about Spanish tapas is that the country is so diverse that every region will offer something more delicious than the last. Pintxos are taking an interesting approach to the theme, with only a couple of their dishes permanently on the menu, and the rest made from whatever fresh ingredients are available. This creates a more laid-back, rustic appeal, which is focused into its design as well. The inside seating is intimate, and the outside garden patio offers a fun alfresco dining alternative. As for drinks, they’ll be delivering on Spanish wines, beers, cocktails and sherries.
