Eco-skating at The Barn

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.

12. The admission of guests to any facility operated by The Barn at Berryfields skating rink, known as Skating at The Barn herein, is strictly subject to this Guest Admissions Policy.

By purchasing a ticket to attend this facility, the purchaser agrees to be bound by this Guest Admissions Policy and to follow all rink rules at all times. The rink rules are identified on signage at rink side.

Skating at The Barn reserves the right to refuse access to or order the immediate removal without any entitlement to a refund of any person who fails to act in accordance with this Guest Admissions Policy.

Tickets are non-refundable, and Guests are responsible for checking their tickets at the time of booking. Skating at The Barn shall not be under any obligation to rectify tickets bought in error. Guests may not resell or trade any tickets.


If a session is cancelled due to Government restrictions then we will move the session booked to the next nearest convenient date to the customer when we re-open.

Customers agree to move their booking if Government restrictions prevent their booked session from taking place.

Guests shall produce on request a valid ticket in order to be admitted into the facility. Each guest is only permitted access to and for the activity specified on the ticket.

If the capacity of the facility is at the maximum when a customer arrives then they may be asked to wait until such time as there is sufficient capacity.

In order to avoid disturbances to an activity, Skating at The Barn may refuse entry to any guest who arrives after the activity has begun, subject to any decision by the facility management acting in their absolute discretion.

Sound and video recording equipment (including but not limited to cameras and mobile devices with recording functions) is not permitted inside the facility without prior approval of the facility management.

Guests may not bring or consume any food or drink purchased outside of the premises and Skating at The Barn reserves the right to conduct random bag checks in this respect.

Guests must always remain within permitted guest areas unless otherwise instructed by Skating at The Barn staff or a representative.

Skating at The Barn accept no responsibility for the loss, theft, damage or alteration to any personal items brought onto the premises by its guests.

Guests shall not exhibit behaviour which is considered antisocial or disruptive by the facility management acting in their absolute discretion. Such behaviour will result in immediate removal from the premises without any entitlement to a refund. Skating at The Barn reserves the right to require the removal of a group of guests if one or more of the group’s number are considered to be behaving in an antisocial or disruptive manner. The removal of any guests from the premises may result in the issuance of a letter barring such guests from the premises in the future. Skating at The Barn reserves the right to report any guest deemed to be exhibiting antisocial or disruptive behaviour to the police for further investigation.

A carer of a disabled guest may skate for free, however ID must be presented connecting the name of the disabled guest to the recipient of one or more of the following: Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Attendance Allowance (AA), Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Armed Forces Independent Payment (AFIP), or is a registered blind person.

Guests may not smoke (including electronic cigarettes or any other artificial cigarettes or smoking devices) within the premises. Anyone found doing so shall be removed from the premises without any entitlement to a refund.

Guests may not bring alcohol or illegal substances onto the premises – save that alcohol may be purchased from any licensed bars within the facility (where available). Alcohol purchased from the licensed bars within the facility must be consumed within the licensed areas only. Licensing laws shall be strictly enforced. Anyone who is or appears to be intoxicated shall be removed from the premises immediately without any entitlement to a refund. If you have consumed alcohol, you must not skate at Skating at The Barn, please skate before consuming any alcohol.

Guests must not engage in any conduct towards, or speak to, any staff, representatives or other guests in a manner which may offend, insult, intimidate, threaten, disparage or vilify any person on any basis whatsoever.

Guests who are under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a guest who is 18 years of age or older at all times.

Guests understand that CCTV monitoring takes place on The Barn at Berryfields' full premises for the purposes of protecting staff, guests and company property and for the purposes of preventing or detecting crime.

Guests agree not to do anything to endanger or jeopardise the safety of another guest or Employee whilst on the premises. Skating at The Barn reserves the right to take any and all appropriate action to protect its staff, guests and property including but not limited to banning guests from all or certain facilities operated by The Barn at Berryfields, contacting the police and taking any necessary legal action and to recoup or make a claim for any costs incurred.

All adults must be accompanied by a child when attending an activity clearly intended for child participation only.

Skating at The Barn reserves the right to alter or cancel the time or date of any activity without notice.
