With summer well and truly underway, it's time to put your plans into action. As the city heats up, we're putting together our list of the coolest July events in Birmingham, from quirky brunches and raucous bingo to rooftop parties and comedy shows. Yakinori Sushi School

Become a master of your favourite cuisine at Yakinori Sushi School and enrol for just £20 each. Classes take place every Thursday and last for two hours, where you'll be able to socialise and learn how to roll some signature pieces, as well as enjoy a starter selection and some traditional Japanese sake. Delight in a welcome drink, grilled chicken gyoza and tempura prawns before getting hands-on and making your own salmon nigiri and brushing up on knife skills.

Board Game Bottomless Brunch!

Slice 'n' Diced is bringing a bottomless board game brunch to Bristol Road's streets from £30 per person. Join them every day of the week for three hours of games, two of free-flowing prosecco, beer or soft drinks and four snacks from the tempting menu (think mozzarella sticks, spring rolls and chicken skewers). Upgrade to sip on cocktails for an extra fiver, and challenge your mates to the likes of Mario Kart and more.

Walkabout Birmingham

Thanks to its mix of events, you can count on Walkabout Birmingham for a cheap, or even free, night out this July. Spanning from Indie Rock Thursdays where you'll be able to let your hair down to hit after hit of alternative classics, as well as grab bargain deals on drinks with WKD and Smirnoff Ice's starting from £2.50 each. Thank F**k It's Friday brings another party from 10pm 'til late, as well as Super Saturdays and Manic Mondays.

Mooncat Duelling Piano Bar

At Mooncat Duelling Piano Bar, musicians play your favourite songs all night long, while you enjoy delicious fare, quirky cocktails and neon lights. Throughout July, it hosts its Quiz & Keys night every Wednesday with tickets from £2 each. Explore your musical trivia knowledge with prizes up for grabs, or head down for its Themed Thursdays where you're invited to belt out the likes of country hits. 

Taste + Liquor

Fancy a fun event with the gals during July? Taste + Liquor are hosting cracking brunch events, complete with free-flowing booze and a scrumptious meal. Plus, the venue has killer themes such as RnB brunches and 90s throwbacks.

The Cocktail Club Birmingham

If you love The Cocktail Club, their bottomless brunches are an excellent shout for tasty pizza, free-flowing booze and all your favourite noughties hits. And if that wasn't enough, you'll also be treated to drag entertainment throughout.

The Actress And Bishop

The Actress And Bishop has made a name for itself as one of the oldest boozers in the city and one of the top music pubs, so it's no wonder that this July its events lineup is one to rival all the others. Should you find yourself in the mood for a bit of head-banging, Dizzy Lizzy Live (an iconic Thin Lizzy tribute band) can provide entertainment on the 12th of July. Or, failing that, there's always the Pink Floyd Tribute, Atom Heart Floyd, or Masters of Sabbath (you know the drill) to get you going.

Luna Springs

Stumped on things to do in Birmingham this July? Head to Luna Springs for epic bottomless brunches, complete with a scrumptious main and free-flowing fizz. And if that wasn't enough, other events include its Full Moon Party and Magic Disco.
