Guess who’s back, back again, IB’s back, tell your friends.
That’s right folks, after the storming success of our inaugural Independent Birmingham Festival, which took place at The Bond Company (Digbeth) in May and saw a sold out crowd attend and celebrate the best of Birmingham’s independent culture - we’ve decided that you folks deserve another great event in your lives.
Introducing the Independent Birmingham Festival at Aston Hall.
On Sunday 17th September, we’re going to throw a big party to celebrate Birmingham’s independent culture - but this time, we’re hosting it at the unbelievably iconic Aston Hall.
Expect MORE pop-up restaurants, MORE cocktails and MORE craft beer to sip on throughout the day, MORE street food traders serving up damn tasty grub, MORE artists, designers and independents retailers and MORE live music. Essentially, just more of everything that made the festival such a hit last time.
In addition to incredible food and drink from the very best independent restaurants, street food traders and bars in Brum, there will also be a brilliant programme of live music (among other things) taking place throughout the day so as to keep you all entertained whilst stuffing your faces on some of the very best grub in Brum and sipping on cocktails and craft beer.
The last event sold out weeks in advance and had such a terrific turn-out and reception, so now we’re at a bigger location and can’t wait to welcome you back. The Independent Birmingham Festival at Aston Hall is set to be a wonderful and fun-filled, family-friendly, day out and definitely one not to miss.

Tickets cost just £8 (early bird is £5) - Children under 12 go free, no ticket required.
Note: Our last festival sold out weeks before the actual event, which led to a mad scramble from many for tickets. This event will sell out. So if you’re keen to attend, it’s best to purchase tickets as soon as possible so as to avoid disappointment. We’re going to make it really ace and special, and we want you to be there - so don’t miss out!

Getting There
Aston Hall is located 3 miles out from Birmingham City centre (B6 6JD) and is a short, 5 minute walk from Aston train station.
If arriving by train: turn right upon leaving the station and right again onto Grosvenor Road. Walk straight on for 500m until you get to Witton Lane. Entrance to Aston Hall is off Witton Lane on the left hand side of the road.
By car/taxi: the postcode is B6 6JD and there is a small car park at Aston Hall which has free parking.

The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
